The leader of the Liberal Democrats Party visits County Cares Community Skills Project in Fetcham

Our Community Skills Project in Fetcham, Surrey welcomed the leader of the Liberal Democrats Party along with 40 plus members of his party, including councillors and his media and marketing team. We had the pleasure of showing him around explaining what we do alongside some demonstrations of our cooking courses, horticulture works in our garden and polly tunnels including our new sensory garden and bug hotel, items which we make and sell within our enterprise sessions and finally in to our radio studio where the Horley Feel Good gang from our Project Radio had the incredibly exciting job of carrying out an interview with their very own questions.

Then followed a spot of lunch for himself and his guests in our Project Café. This was by far the biggest challenge for our guys in the Project Cafe to-date which went without a single hitch, so thank you guys it was a great team effort and you should be very proud.

After lunch there was a big speech in our main room, with additional filming and interviewing taking place in the Café including one with our amazing service users.

Overall this was a very successful day and a big thank you to all those who attended! Feel free to check out the interview with the The leader of the Liberal Democrats Party over on our County Care Surrey Facebook page.
