“The National Day of Reflection on 23 March gives us a moment to reflect, remember and celebrate the lives of everyone that has died, as well as show our support to family, friends and colleagues who are bereaved during these challenging times – from Covid and other causes.”
At 12 noon there will be a 1-minute silence that we invite you to join as a moment to pause and remember everyone, and everything, we have lost over the past year.
Join the free online event with Marie Curie for this moment of reflection, as guests share their thoughts, words and songs - from 11.30am - 12.05pm. Register for the live online event here. If you'd rather not join the online event, you can take part in the minute of silence however you feel most comfortable.
At 8pm there will be a further 1-minute silence. If you can, stand outside with a light (a candle, a torch, or even your phone) to remember the lives lost and to show your support to those going through bereavement. Alternatively, you can shine a light in your window for everyone to see.
