Helena Joined County Care in April 2015 to develop County Care Provision in Lincolnshire. Helena has been working in Health and Social Care since 1992. Much of her experience was acquired whilst working for a Specialist Provider of Care and Education for young people with a learning disability. Her life in the care sector began as a Residential Houseparent promoting independent living skills alongside making sure all care needs were met. She has also been registered manager for both learning disability homes and older adult residential care homes all of which were registered with the Care Quality Commission.Within 2 years Helena started her progression up the management level and became assistant principal for College Residential Services. This involved monitoring and developing services. Having a real passion for supporting young people Helena always ensured that she spent time with service user’s this was despite her having a strategic role. Helena has many qualifications in care, education and management. She takes pride not only in the service she has provide for service users but also how she has developed staff and cascaded her knowledge through training and advise. Helena was born and raised in Lincolnshire, she is married and in her spare time enjoys running, spending time with family and friends and her dog.
